Notice of Meetings for Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships

The Administration for Children and Families will hold two public meetings to obtain input on the creation of Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships this week, Feb. 6 and 7, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. EST. These public meetings will be primarily listening sessions for the Agency and potentially an opportunity for dialogue among participants. The discussion will take place via webinar and by telephone, but early registration is encouraged.

Congress will vote on a spending bill Wednesday that would set aside more than $2.6 billion for the Child Care and Development Block Grant, $8.6 billion for Head Start, and $250 Million for Race to the Top Preschool Development Grants.
