This afternoon at the White House, Lynette M. Fraga, Ph.D., Executive Director of Child Care Aware® of America, will join the National Women’s Law Center, children and members of the Strong Start for Children campaign to deliver 30,000 letters and pieces of art created by children, parents and teachers from across the country to thank President Obama for his commitment to early learning.

The President has proposed the creation of a new federal-state partnership to provide low- and moderate-income 4-year old children with high-quality preschool. The plan would also expand high-quality early learning opportunities for children from birth through age 3 by increasing investments in Early Head Start and child care.
