I'm Glad to be Me Song

Celebrate your child everyday with this special song! Every time you sing it, it will build your child's self-esteem.

What to do:

  1. Teach your child this song--I'm Glad to Be Me (Tune: "Happy Birthday"):
I'm glad to be me, I'm glad to be me.
    I'm growing and learning,
I'm glad to be ME! (Child shouts her name)
  2. A family member can then lead everyone in singing the following verse as a response.:
She's glad to be (your child's name),
She's glad to be (child's name).
    She's growing and learning,
She's glad to be (child's name).
  3. You don't have to wait for a birthday to sing this song. Your child is growing and learning everyday. Find something to be glad about and sing about it.
