Child Care Aware® of America understands all parents and families have a variety of needs and interests. One size does not fit all. We also know that no matter what your individual circumstances are, as a parent, you want the best for your children.

 

We are dedicated to supporting parents. Child Care Aware® of America has partnerships, programs, and resources that are designed to help parents find quality child care, get the latest information on child development and parenting issues, keep informed on current legislation and policies affecting young children, look at their work choices after having a baby, and have access to hundreds of fun, learning activities to do with their children.

Need help finding child care? Child Care Aware® is a nonprofit initiative that helps parents find the best information on locating quality child care and child care resources in their community. We do this by working closely with local child care resource and referral agencies nationwide, and by connecting parents with the agencies best equipped to serve their needs. Child Care Aware® Parent Network (CCAPN), is a free, virtual membership organization within Child Care Aware® of America. CCAPN brings you together with others who share your concern about access to safe, affordable and quality child care. CCAPN provides our members with the tools, information and activities to build awareness of and support for quality child care in America. The Daily Parent newsletter offers the latest information on child development issues, gives practical everyday suggestions for busy parents and child care professionals. The decision to stay at home or return to work is not easy. Child Care Aware®’s Accessing Support for All Parents (ASAP) project will help families look at factors involved in making decisions about child care.
